Acceptance of what you can’t change can change your whole life. The Art of Acceptance is something we can practice throughout life at any stage. It is something which affects our attitude and helps us to get a step closer towards a stronger connection with ourselves and others. Acceptance isn’t limited to accepting people as they are but accepting the universe in totality as it is.This doesn’t mean not to strive or fight for something; but just accepting things which can’t be changed by us or things which we know deep down are right as they are. Although acceptance comes with challenges but it ultimately helps us to grow stronger than the previous versions of ourselves. It includes accepting the uniqueness, the lifestyle and most importantly,views and opinions on a matter. Difficult situations might often test our ability to accept and move on.Taking an example of lockdown in which we didn’t have a choice but to accept it and make the best of it by indulging ourselves into activities within limited resources. All we can do is pray to god to grant us serenity to accept the things we cannot change ,the courage to change what we can and the wisdom to know the difference.
