Gratitude: A Game Changer

Gratitude is a powerful force that can transform your life. It can shift one's focus from what they lack to what they have, from what is missing to what is present, from what is broken to what is whole. It is what some might call a magical power which can be enabled by anyone and everyone at any given point. The only condition it requires is the belief and will to do it. If one doesn't believe in what he/she is practicing, it turns into a waste of our time.Gratitude can be for the anything and everything be it for having an apple to each day,for having hands to perform various actions, for having to eyes which helps one to see the beauty of the Mother Earth or even for having the ability to express your thoughts and actions with the rest of the human kind.It is something which we can practice anytime but is never going to be enough. Gratitude always results in a positive impact on our mindset, studies have shown that when we practice gratitude our brain releases dopamine and serotonin which are neurotransmitters that are responsible for feeling of happiness and well being. Furthermore gratitude helps us in maintaining good relationships with others. Whenever we express gratitude towards someone , the connection grows deeper and stronger.
So how can we practice gratitude in our daily lives? One simple way is to maintain a journal where we can write 5 or more things we are grateful for each day . Another method which has given results is the repetition of the word “thank you”.Gratitude is the perfect ingredient to garnish every dish and make it extra ordinary. Gratitude will help you save through the worst of times and make you humble, deceptive and peaceful.
